I download music to a flash drive and play it thru the USB port. I enjoy the convenience of listening to music thru the flash drive. I love these flash drives!

I was trying to move photos and documents to free up memory. However, it DID NOT WORK with my ipad, so I returned it for refund (without difficulty). I ended up buying the SanDisk iExpand drive that WORKS PERFECTLY with my iPad and iPhone.

They make smaller ones, the size of a thumbnail, but that is too small for me. This one is a bit larger and less streamlined than I like, but still does the trick and is fairly convenient to carry in the zipper pocket of my computer bag.
