I bought this storage to watch movies transferred from my laptop to the TV. The write speed of this device is just fine, although the locking mechanism seems to be easily be made loose. This doesn't work well on tight devices (e.g. PS4) to be inserted in the front but rather on the back. I hope the part being inserted in slots are more wider.
