USB with vault security

As a professor, however, I need to be able to open the files in the vault from programs such as Turning Point and the vault security does not appear to work for my needs. I expect I will need to reformat the USB and therefore lose the benefits of the vault. With the reduced price, combined with Best Buy bucks, it was a good capacity for the cost.
