(Be aware though that these have tiny mechanical hard drives and are subject to fail, but only after @ 900 hours of operation. It happened once where it gradually de-sectored and corrupted various files.)

After a short period of time (and careful treatment of the stick), it was plugged in again, and now it was completely dead. Returned it and got a Verbatim Store 'n' Go, which has continued to work well after several uses.

32 Gigs Made Easy to Move

Multiple files, (1732 files, 148 subfolder, 1.1GB) - 53 secs - started at 60MBps but then dipped when small files were encountered. That's normal. Read:: Single file, 2GB - 30secs - started at 65MBps but that was max. Dipped till 45MBps Multiple files, (1732 files, 148 subfolder, 1.1GB) - 20 secs. Reading speed for small files is fantastic. Started and stayed at around 80MBps.

Don't go with less than USB 3.0!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With more and more computers coming with at least one USB 3.0 port, you'd be foolish to not buy a flash drive with that capability. The data transfer is SO much faster... Just look for a good sale if the cost is too high - they're discounted all the time. Worth every penny!
