Dependable for safe backup

I always do an extra on in case one become defective. The backup process worked well & adequate storage for everything. I would prefer a separate cap for the usb end, the sliding is a little hard to keep the usb end out to insert into the port.

SSD alternative for Ubuntu

Used unetbootin to create persistent Xubuntu bootable drive. Using Gparted I partitioned about 26GB into EXT2 format and labeled it "casper-rw". Deleted the filed with the same name on the operating system partition. Now I'm running a, super fast access, live drive with plenty of storage space. Very similar setup to a chrome book.

USB 3.0 is worth the upgrade

However, USB 3.0 is much faster, and is very handy for last minute file copy when in a hurry (if you're a spy). PROS: - Fast file transfer - Compact - Retractable plug CONS: - FAT32 file system (max file size limited to 4Gb), would recommend reformatting to exFAT before copying files onto it to overcome this size limitation.
