It not only does 3.0, but also is compatible with 2.0 (sorry, don't know if backwards compatibility is a special feature or not). I have been using SanDisk for a long time and as of yet, have not had a problem with a single one of their sticks.

He plans on using it primarily for photo storage. I've had good experience with this brand in the past, & would purchase it again.

My older SanDisks (I have 10 or so) have taken an average of 30 minutes or more to copy 8 GB. This Ultra SanDisk seems 10 times faster as advertised.
