Bought for my son for college. I like having both types of connection in one device for the most compatibility.

I misunderstood the USB Type-C interface, which is my fault. I presume someday I'll have a new device with this ever more popular USB connectivity.

Wish I still had this drive. WOrked great transfering movies to my macbook and to my phone. It's pretty small so lost it....somewhere.

Finally I can transfer videos and photos from my phone to my portable storage because has a type C USB port. Thank you

I needed one of these for my cell phone. It was priced very good, a good size, and worked exactly how I expected it to.

Perfect USB, comes very much in handy since it has both USB C and USB A, also very easy to use with ipad pro

But for now this is the most versatile and beat priced drives you can get that's actually fast enough to use

A USB - C thumb drive that enables you to use a thumb drive in one of the new devices without the need for an adapter. Works great.

I like the universal option having both the USB and the USB-C but it does not stay hooked into either one and will disconnect unexpectedly.

Great to have on the go. I mainly work out if my truck and I need to back up my files all the time. Especially my logs for driving

If you have a Samsung phone, this is the bomb. It makes it so easy to move information from your phone to your computer.

I purchased this a couple of months ago, and opened it for use yesterday. The Regular Type A connection was very slow, and took a long time to transfer text and miscellaneous document files, after the transfer when I ejected the device from the system and went to unplug, the USB drive was really hot. I shut down the desktop and waited for the USB drive to cool before moving it the laptop and using the type C connection, which was a faster transfer. However the USB drive was once again extremely hot to touch and remove. I did not open this item and use it right after purchase, and it has now passed the return stage, otherwise I would have returned it immediately, will reach out to Sandisk regarding this issue.

Extremely quick transfer speeds but also generates a lot of heat.

Great hardware, durable, and super fast transfers. Bought it for work and it would've gotten a 5 of 5 if it had built in encryption.I would still purchase another one for personal use.
