This item works as expected. The USB 2.0 interface is 'slow', but the 3.1 rocks. Great way to transfer files to my new machine.

has the newest USB C connection (using for chromebook) that also has 'standard' USB on the opposite end. very handy to have and can swap useage between laptop, desktop, and chromebook without any problems. much happier with "multi function" devices like this than having to carry around different flashdrives for different devices.

This little flash drive is a great way to transport files between the two pieces of tech that mean most to me: my phone and computer. File transfer works quickly, the device itself is super small and portable and even includes a small opening to fix a strap onto it in case you're worried about losing it. Would buy more in larger sizes.

I purchased the Galaxy Note 9 in January and it has a different USB port. This new flash drive is just what I needed. I was able to transfer all of my files from my old flash to this one on a computer. Snaps right in to my new phone.

I love this usb drive. Switching from mac to pc was seamless if I needed to transfer files or work on documents and then pass them on to someone else. I recommend this to any college students or even high school that may have a mac at home and pc at school or vice versa. This little drive was a life saver for me for three years and I still use it now.

I use this with several devices each with different operating systems and USB types. I have a 2 in 1 tablet/notebook with USB C, Android phone with USB C, desktop with USB 2.0 and laptop with USB 3.0. This flash drive is super convenient no matter what I need it to do with what ever device. Android, Win 7, Win 10.

I just bought a new motherboard with a new fangled usb c interface. I got this at best buy, just to test the port. Speed is fine or my casual use. Read speeds faster than write speeds. (Duh). It does get slightly warm after transferring a large file. Again, casual use.

This works great. Very convenient to have both USB-A and USB-C available, so you don't need to mess with adapters/dongles. If I had to complain about something would definitely be the mechanism used to switch between connectors. Although it is supposed to lock in whichever position you slide it to, sometimes if the port is tight, you may have difficulties getting it in as the connector will retract.

Compact size, well designed, looks great, fair price

I bought this for saving all of my school work and transferring it. It is perfect for what i need, especially since it has dual connectors I can switch between the school PC's and my Macbook very easily.

Great little device that can help you troubleshoot your Macs with booting issues. It can also serve double duty for Linux Ubuntu laptops and desktops with boot-repair or any customized key based boot image or OS installer.

Yeah, there's not much to say. It's very convenient for people whose laptops have at least one USB-C drive (or Macbooks, that only have that port). The drive itself is a bit slow, but when it sometimes goes on sale for as little as $10, can you really complain?

I have about a dozen flash drives, but this is by far the fastest. To get the rated speeds, however, the computer must be equipped with a USB 3.1 connection. If not available, the drive will run at the top speed available on the computer. Overall, no complaints and I'm happy with the purchase.

Works great in my pocket daily for backups and copying files.
