The "SanDisk - Ultra 32GB USB 3.1, USB Type-C Flash Drive" is a great option for those of us who need a flexible flash drive that works with multiple USB connection types. I love having the ability to connect this to my MacBook pro with the Type-C USB side one minute, then connect it to a more traditional Type-A USB when transferring files on a computer that has that interface. Highly recommended.

I purchased this drive prior to going on vacation where I knew I would be taking allot of photos and I was not taking my computer. I thought this may be a good way to empty photos off my phone to keep room to take more photos. This worked flawlessly with my Google Pixel XL! Truly plug and play. I bought this because the USB C Lexar20C Drive didn’t work. This drive works like it should but it gets hot.Other than the one flaw, it works very well.

It is great having the ability to use both type c and 3.0. Very quick on transfers through both types.

With the new 2016 Macbooks, Apple has really condensed the number of input slots on the laptop. Thinking futuristically, the only inputs are 2 USB-Cs and 1 headphone jack. If you have files on a different laptop with a USB, this product will make it easy to move those files from a former laptop to your new Macbook. Also good for traveling because you never know what the host will have for presentation aid!

I'm not one to depend solely upon the Cloud for maintaining my files. There have been too many instances of files being misappropriated or corrupted by others. As such, I greatly appreciate the capability of this device to interface with different devices. I can easily tranfer files between defices as well as maintain a local backup of them.
