The original hard drive in my Pc started running very slow. I did a bit of research and decided to upgrade to a SSD for my primary boot drive and ad a secondary HDD as a storage drive. Thought about 256 GB but decided to go a little bigger and bought the SanDisk Ultra 512 GB. It installed very easily and it is REALLY fast!!!. New life for my old PC!

Sandisk has been making memory cards for serious/professional photographers for years. Now they've moved into the SSD space, and this drive is excellent!

This made my old laptop work faster and more efficiently.

Was surprised when there was a backup program on it. That's great for someone that is backing up a PC, yet I was taking my photos off the cloud. The program was deleted without problem cut and paste from the cloud was effortless. It's super easy.

I bought this to speed up my desktop for VR, now windows tells me my computer is to fast making using ReadyBoost unnecessary. Sandisk app, works great.

Bought this SanDisk 512 GB SSD drive to upgrade an HP 2000 laptop. Used a USB to SATA adapter to clone the new drive. USB 2.0 took about 10 hours to transfer the data over. Installed this new SSD drive in the laptop and it booted up with no errors or issues. The SSD monitoring software cannot find the drive, so I feel that the issue is laptop related.

It's a perfectly adequate SSD that replaces a laptop hard drive. Has all the speed expected out of an SSD, but is about as par for the course as you can get.

Installed SSD this in an ASUS laptop and boot time and application load times were substantially faster than with the standard HD. Installation was straightforward. Using cloning software required a download from the Sandisk support site. The software will also adjust partition sizes if your existing boot HD is a different size than the one you are installing.

Good for the price . Would purchase again.

I've used a few different SSD drives over the last 2 years. This is by far the fastest I have installed to date. Hope it has a good long life as well.

The drive works as expected. It was used to update a laptop that was at least 5 years old along with some memory it vastly improved performance.

Have installed many SSDs. This one is like most other. Decent in size vs price. Performance is good too. As far as installation. The samsung disk clone app is great. Sandisks was a bit mediocre, but overall decent for the drive. If priced the same i would always get the samung, but sandisk is a fair bit cheaper.

I bought this to upgrade my mid-2012 MacBook Pro while it was on sale. Formatting and installing it was a cinch, and I paired this with a 16 GB RAM upgrade so now its lightning fast and as good as new. I highly recommend this SSD for this specific job, and I'm sure it would work amazingly well for other applications.

My laptop was very slow in booting so I bought this to speed up the booting process everytime when I start my laptop. After replacing my existing hard drive with this SSD, the speed of my laptop is lightening fast. It is very easy to install as well and compatible with Sony Vaio and HP Notebook in addition to other brand laptops.

For an older pc that doesn’t have an m2 slot this is one of the cheapest ways to significantly increase performance. Prices are continuing to drop for 2.5 sata Ssds and for non gaming applications, most wont notice the performance difference between this and a nvme ssd. Crucial is a solid brand and I have used these many times in client PCs

This product has boosted my overall speed in anything that I'm trying to process.

Bought this SanDisk solid state drive to install into my HP 15.6 inch i5 laptop. The actual drive swap was pretty easy. But, I did have an issue with getting the operating system to work. Required two tries. Once I got past that it worked great. Much faster boot time. Part of the problem was that I was going from a 750 gig to the 500 gig.

I installed this SSD in a 2012 Pre-retina MacBook Pro and loaded the OS VIA the restore function. Hard drive worked perfect and was very fast
