Definitely worth to upgrade to ssd if you haven’t done so. The specs says it is only slightly slower than Samsung 850 and it is cheaper!

I've owned several 2.5 inch SSDs (Samsung, Kingston, Crucial) and this is just as reliable as any other mainstream offering. Price was extremely competitive, compared to Samsung's offering and the warranty length is the same as Samsung 860 EVO. Software is decent, but not as refined as Samsung. If the price is right, don't hesitate on picking it up.

This SSD turned my old slow running laptop to run as new now. Some of the apps, which used to take few minutes to load earlier is now opening in seconds. I don't see any drop in speed or performance even after I use this laptop with this SSD upgrade for more than 8 hrs a day. I highly recommend this SSD upgrade to any old SATA drive !...

I have purchased 2 of these so far and they always work well. Have not had any issues with them in desktops and laptops and a server.

I actually got this drive for a Dell desktop I purchased at BestBuy. It came with a 1TB spinning hard drive and I added this drive as the boot drive and OS drive. It's great. Fast, reliable and it's been almost a year and no issues. My PC is on 24/7 and this SSD shows no sign of failing. Great value for the money.

I had this installed and removed a bad HDD drive. Super fast boot time and feel much more at ease knowing that this drive should last.

Put in Alienware R6. Super fast and silent. Definitely recommended upgrade for all HDD's. OS transferred easily with 3rd party software.

Bought this SSD to replace my original Toshiba 1TB that came with my Dell laptop since original HDD failed Dell hardware testing. This hard drive is amazingly fast compared to original hard drive for start up, file search, and general laptop operations.

I you are looking to speed up that clunker and get more memory then this is your drive. My old Toshiba was just as the song says, "Move"n along." Sloooow was not the word. I brought it to the Geek Squad they recommended the exchange on the drive and whoa, Mario Andretti super drive. This is fast and is solid state both are a win win.

Purchased several of these to upgrade some laptops. Only one drive was DOA and Best Buy replaced it. Had no trouble with the others and they have helped the performance of these older laptops. Happy with them for the money. Used for business applications and not gaming.

The speed is as advertised, nothing less than the Samsung model. No problem so far. My notebook can be used again after the upgrade.

Best Buy ever, I could not believe how fast my old laptop became. I was ready to replace my old HP Pavilion, it was bogged down slow accessing the Internet, freezing up etc. etc. I had ITB Hard Drive, tons of photos and documents, and no where near its capacity, but it was so slow. A Geek Squad member suggested a SSD, I couldn’t be happier, I essentially had a speed of a new computer for a 10th of the cost. Once he explained the difference between the old Disk Drive with its magnetic disc, motors and lots of other moving parts to access data. It made perfect sense to me the new Solid State Unit with no moving parts could access data faster and more efficiently. I’ll replace it one of these days, and I will return to Best Buy to purchase it. But for now I I’m as happy with the one I have as I was when it brand new. Thank You Geek Squad!

Good price (I did have reward points). I used it to make a Hackintosh to use as a backup incase my MacBook Pro has problems. It is is fast, it has plenty of space for a backup Mac. I bought 512GB because it seemed to have the best price per size ratio. Sandisk gets good reviews.

A great drive replacement for regular SATA upgrade. I put this drive as a replacement for my iMac i5 drive. After the macOS reinstalled the computer is now booting up 4 times faster, and it never stalls during audio operations now. I would definitely recommend this drive.

It was easy to install I put It in an old Mac mini 2011 with 16 gb of ram and The ssd this old machine is now lightning fast. If I could upgrade the bad graphics it would be a good computer. The ssd was easy to install in a matter of minutes I will buy another for a couple of window computers.

I upgraded from a seven year-old 128gb OCZ SSD and this one, while bigger and much less expensive than the one I purchased in 2012, is not discernibly faster. However, this is still a quick drive and hopefully a reliable one. I was able to clone my old drive to this one rather easily, making it a painless upgrade.
