A great drive replacement for regular SATA upgrade. I put this drive as a replacement for my iMac i5 drive. After the macOS reinstalled the computer is now booting up 4 times faster, and it never stalls during audio operations now. I would definitely recommend this drive.

Best Buy ever, I could not believe how fast my old laptop became. I was ready to replace my old HP Pavilion, it was bogged down slow accessing the Internet, freezing up etc. etc. I had ITB Hard Drive, tons of photos and documents, and no where near its capacity, but it was so slow. A Geek Squad member suggested a SSD, I couldn’t be happier, I essentially had a speed of a new computer for a 10th of the cost. Once he explained the difference between the old Disk Drive with its magnetic disc, motors and lots of other moving parts to access data. It made perfect sense to me the new Solid State Unit with no moving parts could access data faster and more efficiently. I’ll replace it one of these days, and I will return to Best Buy to purchase it. But for now I I’m as happy with the one I have as I was when it brand new. Thank You Geek Squad!

If your PC still has a spindle drive in 2019 it is time for a replacement. These make a PC operate like it should. I have had a couple for a couple years now and I have found them reliable. I am sure there is a difference in speed with the more expensive drives but in use, I can't tell and I would notice.

This is my second one of these that I have purchased. I bought them to upgrade friend’s laptops. In each instance, they were easy to setup and worked well. Both laptops, a MacBook Pro and a PC laptop, were much faster and my friends were happy. Price was cheaper here than on Amazon and I picked it up in an hour.

Replaced old hard drive with this solid state hd. Great capacity that is far faster than the older ones! Great choice to make!

The lack of moving parts is wonderful for this SSD, whenever I used it for boot drive, storage, or external with enclosure.

I do not have a direct comparison to other SSD but I think this one is excellent and just as fast as any for the average user. I believed I could not go wrong with SanDisk as I have all ways had good luck with there products

Second best only to Samsung, if Sandisk is 10% or more cheaper, I happily choose the Sandisk. Both brands are quite reliable but Sandisk routinely offers 3 speed level models, i.e Fast, Medium Fast and Decently Fast whereas Samsung seems to offer Fast (EVO) and Faster (Pro). Even the slowest Sandisk is 3 or 4 times faster than a 7200rpm hard drive and a good 5 times faster than a typical 5400rpm laptop drive. I buy external hard drive cases and stick a Sandisk SSD in them for ultra fast backups and data transfers.

This SanDisk product is excellent. It's very fast. It installed with no problems (using BestBuys installation kit https://www.bestbuy.com/site/apricorn-data-transfer-cable-gray/3459621.p?skuId=3459621). Sandisk support is great too and will send you a replacement quickly if one fails and is within the 3 year warranty.

this SSD is great and gets the job done and if you can pick it up on sale its a must get if you're looking for a 500+ SSD

SSD are definitely the way to go for speed and reliability, With prices finally dropping this SanDisk drive is the way to go! This brand is highly respected and in my experience one of the best SSD providers out there.

My Wife had been complaining about her Mac running slow , so I decided to upgrade her 5200 rpm drive that was slower than Moses with this drive .... Boot times were super fast !! programs run effortlessly !! If you are suffering from the spinnings beach ball on your Mac you will regret not getting this drive !!

I purchased this hard drive after an impact near the disk drive disabled my laptop. Windows 10 would not load and I heard a clicking sound from the old drive. It was easy to replace the drive and to install windows from a recovery USB drive. The new ssd is faster and works great!

Needed another SSD and this was on sale. Have an older lower end model form SanDisk that I've never had an issue with.

You just can't go wrong with Solid State Drives when going upgrading from the default spinning disks. I upgraded an HP computer and it went from taking over 5 minutes to boot to less than 50 seconds with this new upgrade
