I still had problems even after doing a format of the drive. I took it back and purchased the Samsung EVO SSD instead. I installed it without any problems. I would NOT recommend this drive as a replacement drive for the OS.

When I took my computer in, it had one that didn't work, now many of the keys don't work & several other things that I had on a list weren't done.My computer is now in worse shape than when I took it in for repair.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had 2 choice: watch my fingernails to grow while waiting for W10 to load or ultimate upgrade on my 2014 Acer Aspire. RAM is maxed out, so this was the last piece of the puzzle on the upgrade list. I went to AVG 3/5 mins waiting to less than 30 sec for the start-up. If u have an old laptop, go for the SSD upgrade. Whatever was in the old HDD was cloned to the SSD for 50$ in a PC repair store, pretty easy process. The SSD is actually doing the job

It has work somewhat but has started to give me trouble the last few days. I guess it may have to go back in since I was not satisfied with the Best Buy tech support. It is a waste of time and also my money.
