not happy slow ! not happy slow ! not happy slow !

I installed this SSD in my wife's quad core computer with 12 gigs of ram. Boot time for Windows 10 is running 5 to 6 seconds. Every program is this fast or faster loading. It is easy to install an SSD. [My only complaint is I want to put this SSD in all my computers.]

I have an older computer that still preforms well. I've made modest upgrades on it from time to time but the biggest increase in performance came from installing this HD. Fast boot time and loading of programs is noticeably much faster. Should have done this sooner.

I was thinking about selling my current computer, an HP CW-00007la, it came with a Ryzen 3 processor and 12 GB ram + Radeon Vegas 6 Graphics, but it was so freaking slow even after brand new. Once I had everything installed it took about 3:45 min to start and load all my stuff. Not to mention I didn't store anything there to avoid making it any slower. I bought this SSD on Wednesday and after reinstalling everything it takes only 18 seconds to start up, so imagine my surprise that I can now take advantage on my processor and graphics card. 8% of the initial time! So if anyone else is thinking about selling their PC for a more "powerful" one, and your current HDD has a speed of 5400 rpm and a low cache (less than 32 Mb/sec) try upgrading your HDD for a SSD and you'll be amazed. I was thinking about this one and the Western Digital, but it's the same in the end. Western Digital owns SanDisk, so whatever your choice, you'll have a state of the art drive, 5-year warranty and you can download a software from the manufacturer to monitor everything on your new SSD. (Speed, Storage, Temperature, etc.) **Do not buy this if you have no idea how to open up a computer and connect this hard drive. It doesn't come with instructions on how to do that. **If you have any experience then by all means buy it, you won't regret it!

Sandisk SSD HD 512GB. I’m using this hard drive as a storage device. I’m connecting to my 2017 27” iMac using a SATA to USB cable. I trust this set-up more than any other storage device set-up such as a portable USB HD device. Yes, you must format the disk when you first connect to the Mac. This hard drive is as fast as my internal SSD. It is all plastic and weighs almost nothing. That is a very good thing. Every Sandisk product I’ve ever owned still works perfectly, including all of my Compact Flash cards (some of them are 14 years old), SD cards, micro SD cards and USB flash drives. That’s why I bought this Sandisk HD. I’m very pleased with Sandisk and this SSD.

I absolutely love San Disc and all of their products. Best Buy has been my go-to when I need products in town versus paying another 25 or $30 on amazon.

installed drive and was up and running within the hour. The SSD Drive is running blazing fast. The boot time was under 30 seconds to load from a cold start to login.

This is a great fast and affordable SSD that met my needs quite well. Easy to install and tons faster than an old spinner!

My computer was dead slow and one of my friends suggested me to get Sandisk SSD. I was skeptical cuz I always believed this how much my computer could perform but after installing this my computer unbelievably fast. Windows updates used to be the worst and now this drive gets that done in 5 secs. Yes, I ain't kidding. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is experiencing a slow compute overall.

Replaced my PS4 Pro's stock hard drive with this. Took a hit to storage space to get the benefits of SSD. I imagine my opinions on this particular drive extend to any of SanDisk's SSD options, so if you want more storage, opt for the 1 TB version. I have seen absolutely dramatic improvements in load times after installing this in my PS4 Pro. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Have tested load times in Warframe, Bloodborne, and Horizon Zero Dawn, and all have been cut down tremendously. Wish I would've done timed tests with the stock drive before removing it so I could give exact numbers, but it's definitely noticeable. If you are thinking of improving load times and minor performance issues with your PS4 pro, this is the best way to do so. I was worried I wouldn't find the switch worth it, but after two days of gaming, I'm super happy with my decision. If you have a regular PS4, DO NOT do this upgrade. The regular PS4 does not have SATA III capabilities, and cannot fully utilize the functionality/benefits of solid state. You'll see some improvement, but not enough there to make it worth your while.

I replaced a old SSD the same size and this really made a difference on performance it is about 15% faster that my old drive after running my write and read speed test.. The quality of the drive is very good and it comes with a 5yr warranty & gives yo ua piece of mind . I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DRIVE TO ANYONE..

i bought two of these ssd drives to fix old laptop that the hard drive went out and they are the best ssd drive out love the speed and the fast boot up helps i will buy a third and fourth one to get my other laptops working much better

Hey guys I bought this to upgrade my Acer nitro 5 and thought since I am not cloning anything it would be plug and play it isn't. You have to go into settings and create the storage space for it. Once I did that it was great.

I purchased this solely based on price and the size of the drive. Once installed in my old laptop it turned it into an unusable paper weight into a fast and fully functional machine.

Nice temporary storage that allows easy transfers of data from my old PC
