New hard drive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got new hard drive according to Geek Squad agent’s suggestion. Personally, we do not see a difference in speed, etc and wonder if we really needed it. Greg Burkhardt was such a great agent fixing a problem the other five agents from Comcast gave up on that we felt he knew what he was talking about. Would love to have him back to see if he can do something about it.

Any software to clone your disk.

Died gruesome death after ~ 20 days of usage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in May of 2020 for my wife's laptop. Installed windows on it - worked great. Immediately upon installing Windows on it, she didn't use it, and it sat in the office closet until March 2021. I take it out and start using it again daily. Two weeks later the drive starts acting out and will "disconnect" itself from Windows during usages at random moments. (Disappears from device manager, results in blue screen of death). I pull the drive and start using it externally with USB to diagnose, after a hour of usage connected to USB3, drive dies gruesome death and is never again detected when connected. All in all, I got about 20 days of usage out of this drive. Shipping for warrantee exchange makes warrantee work a waste of time. Best Buy exchange promise is only 15 days.
