replaced a conventional HDD with this SDD and the difference is amazing. It is an older (5 year old) laptop that I upgraded to Win10, along with maxing out the RAM and this SDD. typical bootup time is about 8 seconds and average shut down is between 7 - 9 seconds.

Bought this to replace my wife’s hard drive in her 2010 MacBook Pro. Cloned the drive, installed it and runs perfectly fine. Big speed improvement and larger capacity than the stock hard drive. No problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a spinning hard drive.

took me long enough but finally upgraded my SATA hard drive to SSD. i used Macrium to clone my previous hard drive and installed this. works on laptops or PCs as long as its a SATA connection. makes my boot up so much faster and all other programs work better.

The SanDisk Ultra is fast, easy to configure and very easy to install. Put it in my wife's computer and make her old hard drive the back-up drive and she is very happy. What more can you say? SanDisk has been the best for a long time...don't see that changing anytime soon.

I have an old 1st gen I7 that runs on DDR3 and cannot be upgraded anymore. I had the Geek Squad install this and now boot-up times are quick and some games that had been almost unplayable came back to life. Great upgrade on a computer I thought had seen its last days.

I bought this SSD to replace the hard drive in a Lenovo Thinkpad T500 to speed it up some. I then installed Mint Linux and Chrome OS on it. The end result is a very quick computer repurposed. The SSD was very easy to install and set up.

I cloned the hdd in my laptop onto this drive. Widows 10 now boots in about 20 seconds, a huge improvement over the previous boot times. With so much storage moving to the cloud, this drive is more than adequate and up to the task.

Sandisk memory cards have been the standard for performance and reliability for the last decade. I have never had an issue with their products, so Sandisk was the obvious choice for upgrading an older iMac to an internal SSHD. Popped the SSHD into an external USB enclosure, Carbon Copy Cloned the start up disk data and then replaced the traditional SATA internal drive with the new SSHD. Startup time dropped to 20 seconds and I/O is at least five times faster. One consideration for mac users is that traditional Apple HDs have a temperature sensing circuit that is absent in replacement drives and SSHDs. This causes the fans to ramp up to maximum unless a software patch is installed - I used a free downloaded fan speed controller and set the HD fan to a very quiet fixed speed of 1400rpm. No temperature, noise or other issues - just a big improvement in speed.

Do yourself a favor if you have an old mechanical drive. This thing is fast like greased lightening!!

New hard drive - performs as expected, safer, faster and more room. Geek Squad was great. Quick, efficient and helpful. All items from old hard drive were moved to new one, with no issues.
