Great HD and great purchase. Upgraded 10 yr old laptop with this drive, best thing ever. If you have an old laptop that you want to speed up, upgrade to SSD drive snd memory.

Solid state memory is a requirement for both speed and durabilikty.

The SSD was not the first choice for my son, but we decided to move ahead with it when the SATA drive we wanted was not available. We are happy we made the switch. Laptop boots up quickly and access is very fast and responsive.

It has always been my opinion that SSD are way to expensive and should be cheaper considering the technology has been out for some time. With that being said, they are way more reliable than regular disc hd, and way faster.

It’s a SSD so it’s fast and compact. One month in and I’m satisfied with my purchase. Not much more to say other than it does the job and it’s much better than a regular hard drive.

My old Dell 5520 laptop was purchased in 09/2012 with Windows 7. It would take 10+ minutes just to reboot. So, I upgrade its original 4GB RAM to 10GB in 02/2019; and then replaced its 700+GB Hard drive with the SanDisk - Ultra 512GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) in 08/2019 along with OS upgrade to Windows 10. Suddenly, the original Intel CORE i3-2.37GHz CPU found its new life... Not only it takes less than 1 minutes to reboot now; but also, the speed of bringing up or closing out many Windows based software applications have been drastically improved. Given the above upgrades; hopefully, I will be able to enjoy this old Dell laptop for another 7-10 years. Time will tell the quality of this product.
