Perfect drive for Mac minis!

One to replace a 2012 mini’s failed HD at work and this one to replace the internal in a 2014 mini that was suddenly slower than molasses in January in Maine. Discovered that the SATA cable had failed and decided that although the drive might be ok, it was better to replace it as well. An hour and a half later, I had a blazing fast 2014 Mac mini. Won’t turn an underpowered machine into a workstation, but it will most assuredly take an older machine and extend its life considerably.

Geek Squad to the Rescue!

I took the computer in to the Geek Squad at Best Buy and within 10 minutes, they determined that the disk drive was no longer working right. They put in a new SunDisk solid state drive (SSD) and now the computer is working like when it was new!
