Ever since I started converting to SSD's this has been my go to drive. Great performance and price!

I bought this and installed it in a 3 year old laptop that had been disappointingly slow since day one. It is absolutely worth it if your computer is too slow for you, every operation is greatly sped up! What used to take 90-120 seconds for the computer to be usable from the moment it’s booted up has now been reduced to approx. 7 seconds. Updates that used to take an hour+ now download and install in just a few minutes. I can’t go back to a mechanical hard drive now.

this is a great and fast SSD. i got this to upgrade a 128 gig version. love this upgrade in space now the price has fallen on these.

Excellent budget drive fast and easy. I have used this brand in prior upgrades, never a problem, fast reliable read/ writes.

I bought this to replace my HDD in an old 2010 laptop. It definitely increase the speed of the computer. I usually go Samsung, but I rarely use this laptop so decided on SanDisk due to price. So far so good. If anything changes, I will update this review. It doesn't come with any software or cables to migrate the OS. I used a free product (retrieved online eas-ily) to copy the drive. Make sure to get a cable to connect to your machine if you do not have a 2.5 hard drive enclosure.

This replaced an older SATA hard drive that was failing. The computer now starts up quickly and rarely stalls.

Great SSD. After switching from my 1tb HHD to this SSD, my boot up time is now a lot quicker. Overall performance improved greatly.

I previously got the same SanDisk 512 GB SSD to speed up an old laptop, and now had a 4-5 year old Dell desktop that was slowing down to the point of being unuseable. Rather than trashing it and getting a new computer decided to try again replacing the HD with this SSD and again it gave new life to an aging PC which I wasn't quite ready to replace yet -- good price, good installation time and support. This is why I like to use my local Best Buy in person thanks!

Solid state drives really speed up the boot process and with no moving parts are very dependable.

I've purchased at least half a dozen of these in the past three months for clients. They're low cost when comparing to buying a new PC and with Win 7 becoming end of life in January 2020, I've been upgrading hard drives and updating my clients to Win10 in the process. The first thing my clients notice is the significant speed increase compared to their old platter drives. Many have remarked that it's like they purchased a new PC even though they're using five year old hardware.

I purchased this SSD to speed up my HP Envy laptop which had a 7200RPM drive in it. My windows now boots in 9 seconds from the time i turn on the machine to the time i have to login to windows. This is compared to the 2 minutes it would take before... So very happy with this purchase. I also have been able to stress test the drive and it does get the 500MB write per second on this drive. So this drive performs exactly lilke they say it should. So you couldn't ask for a better drive! Definitely a good purchase!

Purchased this item to upgrade an older laptop to windows ten. It increased boot time and was very easy to install.

Switch from a 1 tb toda 512gssd and notice the fast boot and other program run better
