I bought 4 of these to put in a RAID 0 array to make a single partition and replace my large data drive. On the plus side it's the fastest drive on my machine, my old data drive was the slowest. Its great for spooling up virtual machines really fast. The security of SSD is another benefit. Once a bit has been written to zero it stays zero with no history, unlike platter drives which can hold write/overwrite up to seven times.

I dropped this SSD into an older (2014) Asus gaming laptop late last year to increase the longevity of that computer. For the price you cannot beat the performance. The load times are excellent and I feel like I can get another 3-4 years out of that backup laptop. SanDisk made a nice product here at a reasonable price point. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent price for this SanDisk SSD. This is a high performance solid state drive. I used this SSD drive to replace old hard disk drives in several computers our business. We also used a Corsair dual SSD bracket to fit th3 drive in a 3.5" HDD drive bay in small form factor computers.

I am using this in my laptop (with an SSD holder in my DVD drive bay) daily to transfer hundreds of GB's of data to and from various hard drives - averaging 150-180MB/s transfer speeds.

I bought this to replace the hard drive in my laptop. The SSD seems to work fine. However, I have not yet been able to get the SSD's firmware updated or clone the contents of my existing hard drive so that I can replace the existing hard drive with this SSD. I have the SSD mounted in a SATA Hard Drive Docking Station as an external hard drive connected to my laptop via USB. For some reason, in that configuration, the Sandisk firmware updater available from Sandisk's web site does not seem to recognize the SSD as a Sandisk product so it will not update the firmware. My laptop can find and read the SSD when mounted in the docking station; but, the firmware updater insists that there is no Sandisk product connected to the laptop. I have also not yet succeeded in using the Acronis software available from the Sandisk website to clone the contents of my existing hard drive to this one. The Acronis software recognizes the SSD as a Sandisk or Western Digital product (unlike the firmware updater) and appears to clone the existing hard drive's contents to the SSD; but, when I mount the SSD in my laptop, the laptop will not boot into Windows 10. It is possible that the docking station is the issue. If I do figure out why the firmware update and cloning were unsuccessful, I will revise my review to include what steps it took to make everything work.
