Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced the hdd in my older hp dv6 laptop because it was definitely slowing down and all the maintenance and even clean install of windows wasn't getting it back to where it should be. Dripped this in, reinstalled windows 7, and BAM! Computer boots up in a couple of seconds now, and data transfer operations are smooth and fast. I would highly recommend this sdd.

Very Noticeable Improvement

Although Geek Squad was not able to restore my old hard drive, with my tech support plan I was able to replace my old hard drive with this solid state drive. This was a very noticeable improvement, and I am quite satisfied with this replacement.

Clone the old hard drive and worked great

I, then, cloned the hard drive and when my client went and started using his computer again he was very pleasantly surprised with the speed of it.

Great balance between quality and price

I've had many other SanDisk SATA SSDs of different sizes and have not had any problems with them. Not on issues nor on reliability. Recommended if you feel a cheaper one might compromise reliability but you don't want/need/have to spend on a more expensive alternative.
