Been using Solid State Drives (SSD) to upgrade/replace from a traditional Hard-Disk Drive for both laptop and desktop computers. Try using a cloning software (Ex, Acronis) or hardware (Ex. Wavlink Dual Bay Docking Station) to clone from a old hard disk drive to this SSD. You'll notice how fast it will boot up to your laptop or desktop computer.

This was installed on a new Dell laptop which is an i-7 but very slow to load or close. This made it work great but I wonder what caused this caused this computer to be so slow. I bought it because I was told it would be the fastest computer I have ever had

I purchased this for my Dell laptop that I have had for several years. I had my original hard drive cloned over to this SS drive. Wow! What a difference this has made. My laptop now books up in just over 10 seconds, navigation is faster. I will never have anything except an SS drive in any of my computers again. Plus it is so quiet. Highly recommended.

This item is by far the best upgrade I purchased for my computer. This SSD is very fast and brought new life to my computer that I have had since 2017. I don't have much else to say other than buy the adaptor to put it into a Desktop Computer!

I did a clean install of Windows 10. Because I had Windows 10 on the machine already, Microsoft accepted it and activated it with no problems. The PC now boots rapidly and the slowness of the old disk is long forgotten. I used wire ties to mount the new SSD drive because it is smaller than the hard disk that I removed.

First SSD and what other reviews say about this drive is true about this one. Cloned easy with out problems. Had it about a month and as far as getting to the desktop from a complete shut down is a lot faster than my 5400 hdd. I know it's faster than the mechanical drive but after a while you expect the quickness. Will get one for the wife when they go on sale.

Used to upgrade spinning hard drive laptop to SSD. Worked in an external enclosure (hard drive to USB) and inside the laptop. Used Seagate Discwizard to image drive. Saw 500 MB/s speeds. No errors noted. Only about $10-$15 more than cheapest online comparables (no name ones not Sandisk exact). Was able to purchase in store and get to work right away.

I am very pleased with my new SanDisk My Computer just got fixed and is finally working as of today, 2/5/22. When I took it from the Best Buy Store with the SanDisc installed I could not get it to function. A Geek Squad Tech came to my home and fixed it for me.

I bought this to speed up my desktop. It took me a while to figure out how to clone my existing hard drive to a SSD, but once I had it installed this drive really sped up my desktop's boot time and load time for apps. I did have to buy a tray to mount this drive in my old desktop hard drive slot, but that would apply to any SSD.
