This product has been and still continues to be an incredible product. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase an external memory that is easy to use, with plenty of memory space and it's size is relatively small. Overall its an excellent choice!

This hard drive was very easy to install on a 7 year old Asus laptop running an iCore 3 CPU. The solid-state hard drive improved my PC performance tremendously to the point where it felt like I had a brand new Laptop. The price was also very easy on the wallet.

Decent price for a 500gb drive near as fast as my samsung evo 960. Was a little bit of a pain to get it recognized by windows but that may have been my own inexperience.

WOW!!! This drive is so much faster to boot and run than the old drive I replaced. Very easy install. Perform system image backup, swap drive, restore image. Whole process took about 4 hours. Most of that was the backup of original drive. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE INSIGNIA MOUNTING BRACKET IF INSTALLING IN A DESKTOP UNIT.

My son has a old HP Gaming Laptop which he was about to give up on because of the lag. I read some wonders of computers upgraded to SSD. I gave it a try and the difference was astronomical.

I have several of these I bought over the last year. They are fast and reliable, boot time can be measured in mere seconds instead of minutes as with mechanical drives. Could not be happier with the quality of th device..If you are on the fence,just buy it, you will not be disappointed. No need to spend more for an SSD.

My last Sandisk SSD gave up the ghost after 8-9 years of daily use. Seems acceptable for an early unit, which the entire generation were prone to failure. So I picked up and updated model, hoping it lives up to the previous track record.

I bought this to have a separate boot disk for Linux, and it works perfectly. Quick access and boot, and no issues. Glad to have a non-Microsoft free distribution running free, open source applications with no worry of hacks, or malware.

My notebook PC would not boot up after a Windows update, so I performed a series of tests that indicated that the hard drive was faulty. I took it to the Geek Squad since I have no way of testing the hard drive further than what I did. They determined that the HDD was faulty, so they installed a new SSD, reinstalled Windows 10 and gave me basically a brand new six year old computer. If it hadn't been for the boot up issue, I would have wasted my money on a new battery. I could only get about 20-30 minutes out of it before I had to turn on the surge protector where the charger is plugged in. Evidently the battery drain was due to the faulty HDD, because the batteries now last up to two hours before I have to turn the surge protector on.

I got a refurbished desktop and within a week Generic SSD failed. It didn’t allow me to recover any data. I bought Sandisk SSD and cloned working laptop and via Apricorn USB to SATA cable. Entire laptop was cloned in 6 minutes and desktop was back up in 5 minutes as soon as I installed SSD.

This little HD makes your machine runs faster. Not only that, it loaded Windows 10 so fast, I couldn't even finish watching an episode of one of the TV series. It is quiet as well, and we had not had any issues with temperature or any other glitches. very satisfied.

I purchased this SSD drive to replace the old hard drive in my 2012 Macbook Pro. I was amazed with the difference! I was going to recycle my Macbook since it was so agonizingly slow but using this drive gave new life to it!

I finally swapped out my PC hard drive for an SSD and now I want the last few years of my life back that I wasted on waiting for slow boot up times! The difference is night and day. My PC now is up and running in 5 seconds from sleep state. If you are on the fence about making the swap, wait no longer.

Installing it was no problem and had no issues formatting the drive. Excellent quality and the price was very good.

No complaints about this product. Has performed very well - the read/write speeds have worked for me and tremendously improved the performance of my computer. Arguably the best upgrade you can do for your computer if it's struggling (if you have a spinning disk hard drive).
