I used this ScanDisk to replace the tired hard drive in an older Laptop. This ScanDisk really improved the performance of the older Laptop.

Replaced my parents' laptop's old mechanical drive which was starting to make noises with this and now boots quicker and is silent. Overall price and performance is great.

Bought 2 as internal RAID setup to my Photoshop PC. Ran CrystalMark drive speed test and it consistently scored 3GByte Read and a little bit less on Write. Nicely priced for size/speed. Highly recommend.

These drives have been very reliable but there is one thing I don’t like about them… You have to initiate it before you use it.

If your old computer or laptop is slowing down a good way to help speed things up is to replace the old hard drive with a solid a solid state drive. SSD's are much faster at data retrieval and are a good investment.

The SanDisk works really well. I notice that the computer opens up faster than before and also shuts down faster than before.

internal SSD, whats there more to say?? it beats any mechanical drive and less moving parts results in higher reliability. win win. would recommend an SSD upgrade to anyone!

I'm happy with the drive. It has performed as expected. I would recommend to anyone unsure how to replace a drive to view it on youtube or ask someone how. It is simple to do but the transfer of your data may confuse you.

I've been using Sandisk Ultra SSD for more than five years, and they're still running under my system. I think it's very durable, and since I'm not such a strict tech guy, I like the way it works in terms of rapidity.

Tech like this should be invisible to the user, and this is. This request for a product review reminded me that I had this drive installed.

Brought and older PC back to life, with an little extra speed. Start up, and shut down are extremely fast, data transfer is equally as fast

This hard drive has been in use for me for desktop/laptop and even server machines. I've been using this brand and size for a few years and I am very happy with the performance and longevity. No issues thus far!
