Not the fastest but cannot be beat in this price range,

This is the second Sandisk 512GB SS drive I have purchased, as I was so pleased with the performance boost using the first in an older HP desktop. My second desktop (both running Windows 10) was (compared to first) older, slower, took long to boot up, start up, run virus checking, run web browser, etc. So I was more curious of the performance boost w/ the SS drive for my older/slower desktop. After copying the hard drive partitions to the SS drive and switching boot drives to the SS drive, it was like I had upgraded to a faster cpu! Boot/ startup is now "no wait". Opens and runs virus check, web browser (w stupid video ads) much more quickly w/ no wait! Best upgrade ever!

Bought is for my Xbox One to store some of my games on that I would like to run faster than the internal hard drive that it has. So far this hard drive has been great.

Works great for me. The drive was installed in my computer by the Geek Squad and the computer never worked better. My computer now runs like it want it to.

This was the very first SATA Solid State Drive that I ever purchased. I was absolutely amazed how much better the SSD is compared to the traditional hard drive.

Fast for everyday home use. Setup was straight forward and simple. You may need an internal 2.5-inch SSD/HDD mounting kit because not all computers come ready with SSD bays.

Have replaced many traditional hard drives with solid state drive, much fast and better performance. SanDisk makes good product such as solid state drive and usb drives, very reasonable cost too.

My old Mac (2012) was too slow, before replacing it I tried changing mechanical hard drive for This one (a solid state) and performance is awesome. Like a new Mac. Totally recommend it!!

Sandisk Ultra SSD are always reliable. I installed it on all my Desktop and Laptops. Not the fastest on the market but for the price especially if it’s onsale is well worth it.

Old hard was drive original worked inconsistently. We replaced it with Scan disk 512g. It doubled our storage and will give us another 5 years before we will replace this computer.
