||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In all MacBook Pros newer than 2010 and iMacs newer than 2009, this should work beautifully. Do check whether your Mac uses the Nvidia chipset for the hard drive controller; such old Macs can;t use modern SSDs like this one. Why? These SSDs are 6G speed and the old Macs only know how to deal with 3G SSDs; if they encounter a 6G SSD, they'll only run at 1.5G speed (and you won't be happy). But, if your Mac is newer, this SanDisk works like a charm (at 6G speed) and will probably double or triple your Mac's speed. This is an inexpensive upgrade (for PCs, too!).

A great boost to old PC
