I have other 512GB thumb drives, but some of them keep claiming errors (and I need to format the thumb drive again). I will reboot and they work OK. So far, this Sandisk has not demonstrated this behavior.

I have old 16 gb, 64 gb, and other ScanDisk drives that have been knocking around for years. This one has a lightly more satisfying click to the slider. Here's hoping it holds up just as well.

It doesnt have a sliding cover to protect so just need to make sure and keep it safe. One major eye opener was that its marketed as 512GB, its is definitely NOT that much. Even when formatting it, it brings up free space in the high 400s.

It has great memory and I love that the drive retracts into its case. It is also easy to hook onto a set of keys!
