I got excited when i saw this memory card on the web and the price was good. I called Best buy and inquiried about its use on my Canon Camera...they told me it works on all...when i got it i placed in my camara and it was not readable. Initially i though it was a defective memory card, so i went to the store... and tried another one...but the problem was that my camara did not accept the memory card at all. I was very dissapointed about this. I was misinformed.

I have used this card for past cameras and it has been great. However, I bought this for my sister's camera and it said it was compatible- however when inserted it would not format. This unfortunately had to be returned.

Card Errors and I Could Not Delete or Remove Files

I know you will want to try the Cards for yourself, but I spent plenty of money for gas returning three cards, and too much time repairing Card Errors. I bought this SanDisk 64GB Card, and two SanDisk 64GB Micro Cards. I had to return each at different times, and send one of them via UPS to SanDisk, because I could not remove my Files from the Card to return it.

15 hours of HD video (720p) on a tiny card!

I have a Sony camcorder with flash memory. It has 16Gb internal which holds 3-3/4 hours of HD video (at 720p). I wanted to try a smaller card as I wasn't sure an external card would perform as well as the internal memory, so initially I got a 16Gb Sandisk card to double the camera's capacity. There wound up being no difference in performance. You just need to get a memory card that lets an HD camcorder record gobs of data to it fast enough, and this series does just that. So I bought this 64Gb card a few months ago and then recently bought a second. They hold about 15 hours of HD (720p) video each. They aren't cheap, retailing at $99.99, but I did find both of mine on sale, $79.99 and $59.99 respectively. There are higher powered memory cards out there for pros and semipros, but for most home camcorder users these would more than suffice.

ULTRA DATA STORAGE FOR HIGH-TECH DEVICES

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

SanDisk is, I suppose, of the highest standards in such data storage cards. However, unless I could possibly confer with my devices, I am honestly incapable of deciphering the significant differences in Ultra, Ultra-Plus, Ultra-Pro, Extreme, Extreme-Plus, Extreme-Pro, or the other variety of titles given to these disks. Yes, I already comprehend that the answer is in the data transfer speed, and, of course, the prices. And, I will give the benefit of a doubt and grant this is probably true. I, in my perspective, believe most of the similarly manufactured disks(not all) are likely equally as efficient. Besides, all are rather easy to misplace or totally lose. One tip, if you can help it, is micro-sized may be fragile and prone to cracking(loss of all data results) when compared to the regular-sized disks. Let's take all factors into consideration, yet move to the many positive aspects. This is an essential and versatile accessory, and is easily compatible with a wide-range of modern high-tech devices. For those who do not know the comparisons over yesteryear means of data storage(big rolls and spools of films and tapes) cannot possibly fathom the incredible improvements of this tiny, flat tool, which helps us save and transfer our valuable data. These tiny data savers may be sort of priceless. Nonetheless, it is great to purchase these memory disks at the prices offered at Best Buy.

    Great for video on DSLR

This is a good card for video recording on a DSLR or any video recorder with the higher storage capacity. I could also use it to store larger amounts of data use on my laptop from off of my desktop if I chose to do so. Overall with this higher capacity there are a lot of potential uses for it. And its fast enough for quick transfer from camera to card. Cant beat the price deal for this much portable storage either.

I put two of these in my D7000. I am able to have a good day of shooting RAW + JPEG and not get close to running out of room. It is true they cost more than the smaller memory cards, but it is more than worth it. I do not like opening any part of my camera out in the field. Also, I found them for a great sale price on line at Best Buy.

    Good Quality Memory card

I got this memory card on sale at Best Buy when I bought my Canon VIXIA HF R40 HD Camcorder. I got a good deal on this Ultra Card, over 60% off. I needed a high capacity memory card for my Camcorder because I use the highest recording speed and setting, and HD eats up a lot of GB of space on a card. I can get over 5 hrs of record time with this card. I would like to get an SanDisk Extreme Memory Card, but the 64 GB card was not on sale. I will get one when I catch them on sale. Not much to say about this product, the name Sandisk speaks for itself....the best brand in the business.. I have over 20 memory cards and flash drives and most of them are SanDisk. Have'nt had one fail on me yet. It works as advertsed and to my expectations.

I primarily use this as a extendable memory for my ultrabook which has 256gb ssd. So the 64GB memory card comes handy as extra storage. The card is quite good for backup purposes. Writes at around 15Mbps and reads around 25Mbps. I am very happy with the product considering the price.

This chip was on sales when I bought it so it made it worth my while to buy it. I am so happy I did. The quality is great for pics and videos. I took around 800 pictures at a recent party and I still had room for approx another 6,000 pictures. Love this product.
