    Purchased this for my daughter as a great way to move data and files back and forth from her MacBook Pro. I used it to move some documents from my old laptop to my MacBook before I turned it over to her. Let me say the transfer rate from the ScanDisk USB 3.0 flash drive was lighting fast. Very pleased.

    A relative allowed me to borrow family photos to scan in and make digital. As a way of saying Thank You to that person, when I give the photos back, I will also be giving them a copy of the digital scans, and a bonus of other family photos I already have that they don't have. Win-Win

    Works fine, although button push to reveal flash drive is a little stiff. Speed is usb 3.0 and comes with backup software if needed.

    This USB 3 device transfers files much better than any USB2 ,as expected. Casing is a very light plastic & does not seem like it would be very durable.
