I needed something to store my paper works ,videos and photos and this flash drive help me a lot.

Looking for a flash drive and saw this one. So far it has meet my expectations and much more. Love it

I use this for my video, pictures and pretty much everything. The transfer speed clocks about 25MB a sec.

The packaging is pretty straight forward. At the back there’s an info that you get 5 years warranty on this drive. This drive from SanDisk is retractable type design which is sort of shaped like a thumb. Because, well- you know, its a thumb drive. Get it?

Large storage and fast usb3 transfer speeds, but the price was a little higher than online retailers.

Easy to install and it works fine. The Secure Access software was missing on the Flash Drive. I called Support at Scan Disk and they were very helpful. They E-mailed me a link for the security software and instructions on how to install and use it. Great value for the price.

Works worked reliably so far. Has a blue led light that flashes depending on whether it's reading/writing. A lot of USB drives don't have such a light so this is a nice feature.

Good for saving photos. Once list photos when my old lap top crashed. Never again.

Disappointing, but adequate for moderate speed writes. Tested with Ubuntu Linux 14.04.2 on Sony VGN-NW270F using default Disks utility. My computer has USB 2 ports. Benchmarking parameters:: Transfer Rate Samples = 100, Sample Size = 10 MB; Access Time Number of Samples = 100. Results:: Averages: Write = ~12 MB/s Read = ~39 MB/s Comments:: Reads were fairly constant at ~39 MB/s with insignificant fluctuation. Writes spiked sharply between 12 and 7 MB/s. Access times were constant at ~0.99 ms. Conclusions:: I have a few PNY flash drives of the same capacity, purchased recently, that benchmark about the same on read and access, but are twice as fast on write. The waveform on the PNYs are square and may contribute to the better write speeds. The SanDisk had sharp points on the top and bottom of the waveform. I'm not an engineer, but I suspect the controller in the PNY flash drive may be more modern and advanced than the one in this specific SanDisk flash drive.
