I have an 8 year old version of this memory that has independent slides for each port type that click into place. This newer design is light speeds faster in comparison but I have to fumble with it because the slide wants to move back and forth as I'm trying to push it in to the port. It also doesn't come with a lanyard anymore so if you buy this for it's small size, you'll have a hard time keeping track of it. I had the lanyard from my old memory so going between home and office is just a matter of slipping it over my head. It has the loop for it on the side of the case, but it's almost as if someone in marketing said "let's not include that and save .20 cents"! Buy it for the speed of USB 3.0 but hate it every time you have to push it into a port.
