Real simple. I bought an old Canon G5 digital rangefinder camera. Canon traditionally eschews SD cards (on their full-size cameras) in lieu of the way more expensive CF cards. I needed capacity measured in Giga vs Mega bytes since I wanted to shoot RAW with this camera. BB had these 8GB cards on sale at about 50% off. Couldn't pass it up. I'd like a bigger CF card but not ready to shell out the dough for the higher capacity. I've never had issues with any SanDisk cards so I don't anticipate issues with this one. I just wish, on a whole, these CF cards were less expensive. * So the Excellent rating for value is based on the great sale price. At it's $49.99 price it's a joke. Unless you have a big Canon camera. * Capacity is what it is. You pay (a lot) more you get more. * Durability is an assumption. If the lighter more fragile SD cards last, how much longer the heavier CF cards? * On it's own I'd not recommend a CF card unless you had a specific requirement for one (like you have a full-size Canon camera). You get better value for your money using the SD cards.

The compact flash is a little bigger so you can store it easier. More space on outside card to write a note to stick on it. This way you can see what is on the card by reading the post it note. Also it takes great pictures and it holds much storage. I have always had great color with this memory card.

SanDisk is my go to memory card. I feel confident that the shots I take on this Ultra 8GF compact flash card will be there, clear and available for reproduction when I am ready.

Qualityof the siding is great. These are getting harder and harder to find now that the SD cards are taking over. So it was great to be able to find a decently Priced item!

This cf card is a great value product. It's speed is the only disappointing quality, but that's to be expected for the price point. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and would buy another one.

I have used 2 other brands. Sandisk has always been reliable. I still have my original 250mb one from 15 years ago! I like 8GB just because it gives my plenty of space for a long vacation but not too much to waste incase I don't fill it. I have used and reused my original 8GB card for the last 5 years with no problems. Very dependable product!

Plugged it in and it worked fine. Needed a second card. Price was right.

Card worked just fine. I had no issues with the product it's self. I started to worry a bit when it seemed like I should of been out of memory space on the card. When I put it in the reader, I still had plenty of room. Photo quillty was the same as any of my other cards, no complaints there. A bit higher in cost then what I had hoped to pay. But it was fast and convenient, no waiting on a shipment to show up.

I needed this style memory card for my new camera and this was the only brand available but with different capacity sizes. I chose the 8GB because it was a great price. I purchased two of these for much less than the larger capacity one I was going to purchase.

We were out of town and some how managed to forget the CF for our Nikon D300. I picked up this card and we were very pleased with the results. Our D300 is capable of shooting pretty high resolution and we didn't notice any issues with this CF.

This is a very good price for a brand name CF memory card which is getting more difficult to find. Great price, fast write speed, good capacity.

I bought a couple of these. I use them in both Canon & Nikons. I am very happy with them and the price is pretty good.

A good reliable higher capacity CF card for my DSLR. Now I won't have to switch cards as often when on an extended trip / shoot.

I use this card in a canon 5d markIII. works great. Ample storage, and speed. reliable so far.
