It didn't break. It stored maps for my gps. Seemed to store fast enough. And my GPS worked afterwards just fine. Wish I would have got it on sale but price was okay anyways.

Hi, Everybody: I accidentally made a technical error on my first attempt at reviewing this, and I think I have got my facts straight now. I apologize to Best Buy for my initial inaccuracy. I have used this card to take photos and record videos on my Olympus TG-830 camera, and the card comes with a full-size SD card adapter. Therefore, I can take it out and plug it into my Android tablet and edit and post my videos onto YouTube. One of my applications from the Google Play Store converts most videos to a format that is editable on the Android tablet, and another application can play and send most of the initially uneditable formats directly onto YouTube where they are playable as either private or public videos, and also pretty well editable (on YouTube) using Windows. However, the 60 interlaced (60i) as opposed to the 30p format is the least Android-friendly format I have tried, although this is certainly no fault of the SD card. Of course I can see my photos there too (on the tablet). This card works quite well, and it has a speed of 48 megabytes per second. The warranty is a 10-year warranty, and the card is made in Taiwan, not China. Many of the newer SanDisk SD cards have lifetime warranties, but I already knew before I bought this by checking the packaging in the store that it has only a 10-year warranty, and this one is good enough for me! I think SanDisk SD cards could be the very best brand! Thanks, John

Does exactly what is says it will do. 8 GB audio books/music for lady in rest home. When she is done with current ones, we just take the memory card home and put more on it.

Now a days most devices require some sort of extra memory SanDisk has the answers, they are on special pricing regularly, Pick one up for you device, you wont be sorry!!!!

Reliable, never had the brand corrupt. I have used both SanDisk and Lexar brand cards and have had the Lexar brand cards go bad. I think the SanDisk are more reliable.

Solved memory capacity on my cell phone which frequently was giving me the message "insufficient memory" when trying to access my pictures and/or updating applications.

I purchased this SanDisk - Ultra 8GB microSDHC UHS-I Class 10 Memory Card for increased memory for my TomTom GPS. Now when I have updates, I have plenty of memory.

You can get less expensive storage devices but you never know what you are getting until you use and put it under the test. This is a consistently good storage device.

This is a flash memory card and works as expected. This is a brand I have used and trusted in the past and continue to do so. Finding it on sale was a great opportunity.

I got this memory card for my GPS. I like it so far storage space is amazing downloaded all the maps and GPS is still working good. Great buy for a great price.

I have been using this SD in my Garmin nüvi 2300LM and I have been able to frequently update maps without issues by purchasing a cheap, but reliable SD card.

Purchase this and use it for cameras or camcorders to save your precious memories for a lifetime. Works great never had any problems with this brand. Would buy this anytime I need one, and tell my friends to purchase this brand if they would need and sd card. Thank you

I needed these for recording audio in classrooms for a convention. Just the right size plenty of room for all the classroom audio for three day convention.

Have to say that this MicroSD card is much faster then my other SanDisk that was only class 2. I will have to post a screenshot of the speeds of this card soon. This card is cheap compared to others that are of slower class speeds and that don't have UHS-I. Well worth it if you take high resoultion photos or take 1080p video. Almost no visible tearing (just depends on your phone) and good quality. Plenty of space for putting back ups of apps and some music on. If you have lots of apps to back up, 200+, and lots of music go for a 16GB. This might not meet your needs. Other then that faster transfer speeds and better HD videos.

We were on vacation and needed an additional micro SD storage card for our Nikon camera so we stopped by Best Buy and bought this item which works great!

We put the pictures on the memory cards and send them off to whoever doesn't have the pics in the family. They love it because it doesn't take up space.

I use the camera feature of my phone often, so I purchased this item for addidional storage of photos. I've used it now for about 3 weeks, so far so good.

this item served the purpose for what we intended it to do. AT and T advised us to make this purchase so we would not loose our pics stored in the old phone.

My mother needed a memory card for her Garmin. I've always purchased ScanDisk as I've never had a failure with their products. I highly recommend them.
