You can use it like a regular drive or once you store information or media files on it you can turn it around and plug it directly into your android phone. This is a great little device to have for easy transferring of files.

I can transfer files from the phone to my computer or the other way faster than wireless communications and I can actually leave it plugged into the phone and access files from that location as well.

You can also use it as an external drive, since most tablets have smaller data storage.

A great buy and a great Christmas gift

But this one is much more useful because it has two sizes of connectors, so it can be used with my phone, tablet and home computer. At $9.99 for 32GB, it was a real bargain.
