There are two ports. You can take photos and videos on your android smart phone, stick small port where you charge phone and transfer them onto the drive. Then you can keep them and / or transfer to computer. Another application is to transfer documents, photos, videos etc from computer onto drive. I am using mine to document photos of insurance items and keeping it in my safe deposit box. This is a fantastic drive to use. It has instructions on You Tube.

This Small size flash drive works well. Works well with my Samsung S7 phone for transfer and loading files.

Great little unit with plenty of storage. Transfers pics or files seamlessly from phone to computer. The slide is small to operate but works fine.

This thumb drive is nice and compact. The metal loop on it is great for attaching to a keyring or bag zipper. USB 3.0 transfer speeds are great but this drive has somewhat of major flaw. The sliding mechanism built into the side of the thumb drive doesn't lock very well making it very frustrating when plugging into a computer. If the locking was improved so it didn't slide back every time I went to use the drive, this would be a fantastic option for storage.

It's great for transfer my videos and pictures between S4 phone and PC. It's USB 3.0 and fast on PC connection but S4 is slow. I think it's run on USB 2.0 when connect to S4. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I get this flash drive on daily deal. I love it o much. I could use it copy large file from my cell phone to my desktop with fast speed and the video on my cell phone without took up my cell phone storage.

I love how you can use traditional and USB 3 ports. Makes it easy to use with more than one type of device.

You have to use an USB OTG app to make use of this. It is a very nice to have feature though storage could be bigger. No lanyard included which is a bummer. It obviously won't work with iPads and iPhones even with an adapter. I hoped it would but didn't.

I have multiple Android devices with no removable SD card. This is great for storing photos, etc. as well as moving files between devices. The only reason I did not give it a 5, is that the retractor feels flimsy, so I feel compelled to handle with care.

There's a lot to choose when getting a usb drive with 3.0 being the new. My primary use for this drive is for music on my car. I've at least 200 songs. I leave the usb drive connected all the time and have had no problems. It's summer right now, and don't know if usb drives can withstand 100+ degree weather - perhaps that's why I had to replace the previous-, so I will put it away a couple of times a week to see if it helps. It works really good at this time.

This drive works well when one finds an adapter (micro USB to USB) to use it with anything other than the telephones that it is designed to be used with. Just don't buy it for your computer,for instance, unless you have an adapter.

Works great with mac or pc. Makes transferring files from android to computer super easy. Highly recommend it.

Bought this on a whim one night. Took it home and have enjoyed it greatly. Ran a few benchmark tests and it seems to deliver. I did notice a drop off of speed on large files but that can be expected.

SanDisk ultra 32 GB thumb drive is best of breed and at a great price

Has a slider to extend the tip for either usb or micro usb. No way to protect the ends so be careful of lint, etc if you place in a pocket or backpack.

Huge storage in a tiny unit. Really like the versatility in the two connectors. Haven't had any issues.

Handy for transferring/copying files from my android phone to my computer. After I copied all the files I wanted to save, I reset my android to factory settings. Then I easily found and copied selected files (documents, photos, etc.) back to my phone. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because the mechanism that slides out the connectors looks like it might not hold up to heavy use. But I will need this device infrequently, so it is ideal for me. My files are still on the device so it also serves as a backup. Perfect for home use.

This is a great idea with mico usb connector on one end and regular usb 3 on the other, perfect for use with android devices. The storage capacity is great and it has worked perfectly in use. My one concern, mentioned by others, that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that it seems really flimsy. For this reason, I returned one of the 2 that I purchased. The slider (to select micro usb or usb) doesn't always function smoothly and the metal clip to attach to keychain seems like it would break easily. I will handle it with care and hope it lasts.
