Not what I needed.. I wanted to store documents and files for work. Obviously you can't do word processing, but even the smallest documents are too large for the cell phones processer.

I accept that having both micro usb and USB 3.0 in a single device is best option but we expect more quality from scandisk. Transfer between both pins is also not so smooth.

Instead of saying USB type A, they should have said it is Micro USB. I was thinking it is the USB type C and bought it. I am just giving to a friend who has some use for it.

I bought this item since the Note 5 does not support external memory anymore. I was very excited to get it until I tried on my phone. Beware if you own an Otterbox case for your phone. The flash drive adapter is too wide and it will not be able to connect to the phone because of the Otterbox case. However I tried in a different phone and it works flawlessly. It's a great product but because of the main purpose was for my Note 5 unfortunately I have to return it. I highly recommend it but beware of it not fitting your phone because of your phone case. I don't own any more cases, so I can only tell you about the Otterbox.

it's a good way to easily transfer pics and files from your phone to a PC. The file transfer rate is much higher than just plugging your phone into a computer.

I did not read the specks on this item as well as I should have, it did not work on my phone. I have since learned it does work on my Fire though.

My camera broke and I had to use my Galaxy 7 phone as a backup. Tried to transfer the photos to the flash drive and it just would not work.

Just like the title says this is averaged performance usb drive with decent price. Make sure to get a price adjustment at the register

It works with laptop and mobile with.Android app is an added advantage.Overall happy with purchase,however built quality looks cheap.

The Seagate External Storage drive seemed to be easier to use with the App to download Pics from the phone as opposed to this item.

I thought it would work with my phone to get all my pictures off of it. But it looks like you need a program for that.

Good to store all my pictures but broke on the first day I started using it.

I found it wasn't always reliable plugging it in on my phone, but for the most part it works as it is supposed to

It took about half the data off my phone but would not recognize other files(pics) I wanted to transfer.

questionable build quality... cheap plastic parts. with frequent uses, the plastic will break.

It does what it's suppose to. Just a bit confusing to figure out how to use it!!

You can't push flash drive in your phone if you use otter box. I was returned flesh drive.

For the technologically handicapped it is a little difficult to use.

It looks need additional software to download from cellphone while using the usb!

Works reasonably well. But sometimes difficult to use the micro-usb connector
