USB 2.0 Speeds - Poor Quality

It worked fantastic for one evening. The first evening, the write speed was about 60 MB/s, which was acceptable. Over the next day, the write speed went from 60MB/s to 3-5MB/s. I've tried to format it, using both the USB-A and USB-C side, on multiple ports and computers, and it takes about 5 minutes just to get to 1%. After trying multiple settings, ports, drivers, and computers, it still will not write above 5MB/s. The device gets very warm during transfers, and at this point, is slower than my USB 2.0 drives. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is SanDisk which I never buy I prefer PNY for flashdrives but SanDisk is the only one I could find with dual ports. There should be a cover or something so whichever end you are using it is open and that is not good. Tho best buy has a lousy policy of making good on lower prices I bought the thing and I thought of purchasing another one and the price had gone down so I called asking to get the new price for my original purchase and they would NOT give me the difference as it is only like 2 weeks since I had bought mine. I could have bought it cheaper somewhere else but I was purchasing it for someone in another state and time was limited so it was better that they could pick it up instead of paying for expedited shipping.

Also, if the information was contained within the brochure that came with the Disk; it was too small for me to read AND, I couldn't find anything on the internet to assist

Tried moving a file that was about 2 gigs onto it and it said it was full. I formatted it using a disk utility and my mixing board would not read it. A device like this should work out of the box with minimal effort.

The drive is of poor quality. It is made of a flimsy plastic that will not stand the test of time. The plastic around the USB connector is so thin, you could break it by just squeezing it lightly of if you are not careful when inserting it into a USB port. Electronically it works fine.
