Anyway, this was on sale and a USB type C. It suits my storage needs.

I was hoping it was a bit easier to copy files to the USB, like drag and drop to copy pictures, or by selecting pictures and use a built-in button/link to copy the pictures. it looks like I need to use its software from app store. Maybe I miss something. This also points to the lack of a good documentation or simple few steps on a slip.

I wasn't told that to transfer my photos from my phone to the flash drive that I would need to purchase an extra product to use. So it's been put aside to use for something basic where I won't need all the extras.
