Transfer speeds regularly in the kilobytes per second. I tried it on my PC (USB C) and my laptop (Thunderbolt 4), and speeds were ok for a few seconds, but then bottomed out, sometimes stopping completely. Also tried NTFS as well as exFat, large as well as small files - no difference. SanDisk usually makes solid products, but this thing is absolute garbage.

NOT GOOD FOR CAT DASH CAM

Unusably slow writes

After an initial fast burst, it writes at less than 1MB/s, which is ridiculously unusably slow. It would take 10 days to fill the 1TB drive at this rate. I thought a good brand name like Sandisk would be a safe choice but apparently not. They promise "up to 400MB/s" but it's literally 1000x slower. I'm going to return it.

It’s slow, refuses to properly eject, and gets hot the moment you plug it in. And it’s too late for a refund for me. Don’t buy.
