How Does This Work???

Online instructions were not well presented. Trying to get it to recognize my phone caused it to heat up and drain the phone battery. Still haven't been to the Geek Squad for thir help. I'm sure they can figure it out for me.

It took a few minutes to move all this stuff to SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive and then copy it to computer. Now my phone is like new and all my files are safe, but I still can see them with the drive connected to my phone,
