Horrible USB device

There are sn disk options that do but the Best Buy guy recommended this and it could not be installed on the app. Make sure you double check the recommendation before going through the hassle of purchase and the return. Hours wasted.

You’re absolutely right, while the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 256GB USB Type‑A/Type‑C is compatible with iPhones (particularly USB-C models), it currently does not support our app on iOS. However, it can still be used via the native Files app on a compatible iPhone. We’re sorry for any hassle and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Right on the package it said that software was available to allow for instant backup. Software doesn't work. Call customer support only gets promises. Unfortunately I passed the return date. I'll never buy this product again, unless this gets fixed very quickly.

Does NOT work for iPhone 16

I plugged it into my phone and nothing popped up automatically on the screen. I called SanDisk and the rep told me the have a "work around" to make in order to make this flash drive work on my phone. However, it included a lot of steps and called for me dragging my finger across each of the 16,000 photos on my phone. I told the guy, "absolutely not!" There's got to be a better way! Certainly more automated. Then, he suggested the SanDisk Phone Drive for iPhone. That's the one to get for an iPhone 16. You're welcome.
