Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this drive to store some videos/photos of friends and family since I was running low on my laptop, just the average use on my end for USB drives. Worked well at first, but after just 6 months of using this drive, the USB-C portion of it felt slightly lose and a few weeks later plugging in the device from the USB-C end wouldn't read the drive at all. From a phone to my desktop and laptop, the drive would only be detected by the USB-A side. I used an adapter after that which worked fine until the USB-A portion stopped working another 6 months later, and I've pretty much lost ALL of my items saved on this drive. Until I can get this thing recovered, I've learned that using an external hard drive is much better for storing files.

One draw back is it doesn’t have as much storage as advertised. But considering I bought it on sale, and the dual port feature, I’m not heartbroken about it.

It makes it easy to transfer files, photos and documents from the phone to the PC and vice versa. It also allows you to use the SanDisk App, Memory Zone, to clean/ transfer files on your phone which is an added bonus
