Also doubles nicely as a mobile photo backup with easy connection to a computer.

I really liked that it had usb c and usb b. That makes it so easy to bounce between computer and phone!

I don’t have to use a dongle extension because now I can directly plug it into my MacBook Air. However, I can’t plug it into my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

While the drive works well with your MacBook Air, it is not compatible with iPhone 13 Pro Max due to it's lightning port, whereas the drive has USB Type-A and Type-C ports. It copied essentially the entire Macintosh hard drive and served as a starter disk for my new computer. Def don't need anything expensive
