The dual drive was able to bridge a 12 year old technology gap when all other network options failed.

If you do not have a background in technology, it can be challenging to use. I had to pay the Geek Squad to help me download pics and videos to the device. I paid more for the application of the device than the device itself. Better instructions needed for all purchasers. Thank you.

They are a good value for the money and work well on any eco system. I keep some around for quick file transfers or uploading pics to take with me.

I now use it to save things that I only saved to my pc before so it has proven to be a great buy.

Holds a lot of info that you can transfer from a C connection to another device that will only accept the regular a connection.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this drive to store some videos/photos of friends and family since I was running low on my laptop, just the average use on my end for USB drives. Worked well at first, but after just 6 months of using this drive, the USB-C portion of it felt slightly lose and a few weeks later plugging in the device from the USB-C end wouldn't read the drive at all. From a phone to my desktop and laptop, the drive would only be detected by the USB-A side. I used an adapter after that which worked fine until the USB-A portion stopped working another 6 months later, and I've pretty much lost ALL of my items saved on this drive. Until I can get this thing recovered, I've learned that using an external hard drive is much better for storing files.
