Not it’s just like any other USB that I have to plug into my computer along with my phone.

I found by researching other reviews that it only works on the iPad Pro, and then often stops working after six months or so. I live more than an hour from the nearest Best Buy store so returning it was a hassle. Today, I returned to the store and after getting the manager to override the time limitation, the money was refunded to my card. Thanks. I will continue to use Best Buy, question associates about products.
