    Real-world write speeds for this flash drive made this unusable for me. I purchased this as an emergency backup drive for backing up SD cards when doing photography on location. I tested a transfer of an existing folder of photos on my Macbook Pro - 1.5GB of data (around 400 files) and it took about 20 mins to complete. Read speeds are much better and the same transfer in reverse only took a few seconds.
