    Slows to a crawl or complete stop when writing a large number of files - useless for a full backup. Also gets very hot (too hot to touch). I recommend an external hard drive or SSD instead of this.

    The write speeds on this are awful, I'm sitting here looking at over 2 hours to transfer 25 GB of data. Meanwhile, a Samsung drive with the same advertised specs took about three minutes to transfer the same exact data, while this one was plugged in still trying to copy data onto it. Returning it for a refund.
