This used to be quite expensive when they first came out, so I shopped around quite a bit. The solar guy is compact, has connectors for USB-A and USB-C, and has significant storage space.

It worked great for booting Windows onto my new PC build!

Handy drive for on the go

One end plugs into my regular USB on your computer, the other plugs into the USB-C port on my phone. I can transfer photos back and forth whenever I need. This thing even survived a trip through my washing machine.

It also allows you to connect to a conventional USB port on the other end of the drive, so data can be transferred between devices.

Works fine with my MacBook Pro 14” 2021. Other desktops also do not detect it all even in the bios for booting an OS for example. I got a cheapy verbatim dual usb c drive and that one works fine on the aforementioned devices. Write speeds are fast however on this one which is a plus

Please note that for the overvoltage error on some desktops, it may be related to USB power regulation differences - some systems are more sensitive. Compatibility may vary, and we are always trying to improve. We recommend testing the drive on some more devices and see if the same problem occurs. If not, the drive is working perfectly. If yes, you can open a ticket at (https://support-en.sandisk.com/app/askweb) with error screenshots.
