I tried it several times and it did exactly the same thing. I did not return the item because I was too busy to go back to the store.

It was tight at first but she lost her groove...

Its design is beautiful and functional but now mine is so loose it freely spines in the keychain attachment. It started out tight and would lock on either USB-c or standard USB 3.0 but now it just flops around. I can probably take it apart and increase the pressure but a new product shouldn't have to be fixed. The issue began 2-months after purchasing.

Faulty flash drive...

It was very faulty and I had to ship it to the data recovery guys...it was a pain. I'm sorry but this is one product I did not like.
