I recently picked up the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe with 512GB storage, and it’s a game-changer. The USB 3.1 and Type-C dual connector are exactly what I needed for quick, hassle-free transfers between my devices. It's incredible how it simplifies moving files between my phone, tablet, and laptop, all without the need for extra cables or adapters. The 512GB capacity is more than sufficient for my extensive library of documents and media. The transfer speed is fantastic—no more waiting around for large files to copy. Plus, the all-metal casing, with its sleek silver finish, not only looks stylish but feels sturdy in hand. My only quibble would be the attachment point for a keyring; it seems slightly fragile for everyday wear and tear. However, that’s a minor trade-off for the convenience and reliability of having ample portable storage always on hand.

This is a great USB drive. It has huge storage space for a thumb drive and, with both USB and USB-C heads, it's perfect for transferring files between your PC and your phone, or any device that only has USB-C ports. It comes with a preloaded .apk for Android devices to install the SanDisk MemoryFinder app, which allows you to save a backup of the files on your Android device. It is definitely worth it to purchase this, especially as more and more companies are making the switch to a USB-C standard.

I like this small drive as I can use it with all my phones to back them up and I don't have to remove the case. I did some backups and it was fast to use. It also has software you can install on your phone. The APP can help with your backups. I have tried others but this drive is the best so far and I would buy it again

I bought this so that I could watch movies on my tablet when I travel. My tablet and my phone have USB type c ports. This is great for moving data between devices with different port types. This works as it should using either connection but gets extremely hot at times. This gets so hot when transferring large amounts of data that I worry about it damaging my computer, phone or tablet. It doesn't get extremely hot watching a movie so it's OK for my intended purpose. Other than transferring large amounts of data that takes a while and the resulting heat, this is great.

It's very compact, and it works well. Fast transfer speeds and all the memory you need. Also has a sleek design that is appealing to the eye. I only have 2 complaints, first, there is no included covers or sheath, or anything like that to keep dirt out of it, which is not a dealbreaker, but it would add a quarter of a star. The other problem is that it gets very hot to the touch while you are using it. It even gets hot when it is just plugged in. This excessive heat has not caused any issues yet, but I'm just worried that excessive heat in small devices can shorten the lifespan. Hopefully I will update this if it fails or causes any issues. If it weren't for those 2 things, it would be 5 stars.

Works well. Was a lifesaver moving files from an older computer to a new one so I could transfer the older one to a relative. I learned from other reviewers to put a leash on it to make it harder to lose (and lose track of). My wife crocheted a nice two-toned green strap to hang off of it.

These flash drives are small, durable, and very reliable. Great for storing video or photo files in a small compact and easy to carry with you. I have quite a few of these in different storage capacity sizes and are so convenient. If you back up a lot of files like me, get some of these, well worth the price and many times can get them on sale especially if you're a best buy member.

Small, portable, convenient. Large space capacity. Runs very hot in a few minutes though.

I had purchased the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 512GB USB 3.1 because it features both a USB-C and USB-A connection so it offers great versatility. It was also on sale ($63.99) at the time of purchase on Best Buy's website so it was a bargain compared to its regular selling price of $229.99! The speeds are fast and you can't beat the storage and connection versatility for the price!

This small flash drive is a wonderful addition to my portable setup. Great quality and fast write speeds.

Just as my title suggest. Is it as large capacity wise as my Samsung SSD T7 2TB drive no. Nor is it as fast when it comes to read or write speeds. But considering I use this little thumb drive not to work from but to store things it's a perfect fit for me. Then again considering this is so small and plugs directly into a USB connection it makes for very freindly mobile storage device.

I like the sturdiness, storage capacity, and speed. It’s a well-known brand. I have not had any issues with it. I love that it has a hole to put on a key chain so you don’t lose it. I like that it is one piece with no cap for it like older versions of usb flash drives.

I'm a little old school and didn't expect this to be so tiny. I love it and the storage is great. You can always trust that this brand delivers a high quality product and stands up to it's claims.

Very satisfied with this SanDisk 512GB Type-C flash drive. I was able to transfer 300 GB of data including media files from my laptop within about 10 hrs. (approx. 500 MB/min). It did get little warm at the end but that's understandable with such heavy duty work.

Thus far, I have loved this flash drive. With its huge storage capacity, I have barely used any of the available space while I have already backed up my laptop and PC. It's very light weight, yet, it seems quite durable. Very pleased thus far.

It’s a large capacity USB capable of going into either a USB-A or USB-C port; what’s not to love? Just gotta be careful when you’re writing to it. Being metal, it gets hot. Really hot. Shouldn’t burn you (unless you ignore its heat), but give it a minute or two once you’re done writing to it.

This USB is super fast and I like the design. I also like that I can clip it inside my laptop case for safekeeping with the loop on the end.
