With the small physical size but large storage capacity I can load a bunch of movies and music and play with no buffering issues. The drive speed is pretty good, nothing to write home about. This would be perfect for a laptop since it does not stick out very far and will not block adjacent ports. Get it, or don't, your call.

This is the newest version, I havent noticed a major increase in speed but these small drives are perfect for storage. Transfer rates are fast at 3.0 or 3.1 USB. The best feature is the built in security which you need password to access and files are decrypted. I can loan a drive to fellow workers to transfer files without worrying they are snooping around in my information.

Great Flash drive for your Car

Since it doesn't stick out much it prevents it from being damaged should you accidentally hit it. Make sure you reformat this to fat32 since it won't read it if you try to play it in car. When you purchase it the format its default is at exfat32
